The Addictions Support Worker is responsible for providing counselling and addictions support to BZA members on and off reserve who are experiencing addictions. The Addictions Support Worker engages members in culturally competent services including confidential individual, family or group counselling about the causes and effects of addictions. The Addiction Support Worker will also provide support and education to individuals and groups in the community with a holistic approach to focus on mental health and recovery.
Programs: addiction related topics such as substance use, suicide prevention, anxiety and depression, FAS/E, gangs and to support them on their journey to recovery.
