The Community Outreach worker aims to provide therapeutic intervention when members are in crisis. The goal is to have the worker build trusting relationships and respond to crisis as needed. The position schedules will accommodate after regular work hours and work with clients 1:1 for no more than 12 weeks. The worker will provide support by utilizing internal and external agency resources to help address the client’s emergency crisis. This position can make referrals to internal and/or external prevention services.
Programs: clinical workshops that provide education and support strategies to the client, respond to crisis or emergency, provide counseling, and basic needs, assist with finding legal representatives, complete applications for legal, and housing, id’s, and helping with employment or social assistance.
