The Cultural Liaison Coordinator is responsible for increasing engagement and cultural awareness with members of BZA on and off the First Nation with relevant programming and education for children, youth, families, and staff. The Cultural Liaison Coordinator promotes and fosters a positive, inclusive, and accessible environment for learning as well as a vibrant sense of community amongst the children, youth, and families who access Rocky Bay Child & Family Services.
Programs: Provide learning opportunities for community members to participate in cultural programming such as building a community sweat lodge, sacred fires, sharing circles, gathering medicines, participating in the fall hunt and spring hunt, attending community pow wows and providing the teachings behind the programming.
