Early Childhood Intervention

Early Childhood Intervention:

The Early Childhood Intervention worker works closely with the Pre-natal Infant Care Worker and is responsible for implementing a prevention and early intervention strategy of services for BZA children and families on and off the First Nation to assist with their physical, mental, emotional, and social needs. The worker also provides opportunities for healthy child development through home visiting, service coordination, and parenting groups.  The Early Childhood Intervention Worker will initiate referrals and connect members with additional services and resources as needed.

Programs: assessing and promoting healthy child development, school readiness, behavior management and early intervention programming, parenting groups etc.
