Family Support Worker

Family Support Worker:

The Family Support Worker is responsible for providing frontline family support to families in crisis, to prevent crisis, responsible for support to individuals, families, and the community in BZA.  The Family Support Worker will also provide support to individuals and groups in the community with a focus on high-risk populations including youth and pregnant women.  The Family Support Worker works closely with the protection workers and will be familiar with other services and resources in the community and work closely to provide information and support when required.

Programs:  individual or group Triple P and other parenting Programming, hands on parenting in the home, provide programs that will encourage socialization and building social networks with families, programs addressing addictions, gangs, FAS/E, promoting healthy homes, assisting families to learn how to budget on a fixed income etc.
