Pre-natal Infant Care

Pre-natal Infant Care:

The Pre-natal infant Care worker is responsible to connect with families and pregnant women with children from 0-6 to provide opportunities for healthy development on and off the First Nation.  The worker will provide consistent involvement through appropriate services such as home visits, delivering programming, traditional child rearing, self-esteem, and service coordination within the agency.  The Prenatal Infant Care Worker will work to provide guidance to families on effective pre/post-natal care to reduce risk and promote healthy development in the family structure.

Programs:  pre-post-natal education, promote physical healthy activities, stroller walks, Pregnancy, FAS/D education and support, providing group programming for learning opportunities and to build supportive relationships with other parents with young children, referrals to other prevention programs.
